West Boylston Street now has a restaurant focusing on a hybrid of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern-inspired wraps and bowls. Chef Mario, who owns Terrazza out of Smithfield, RI, is hoping to answer to the growing demand of shawarma, avocado hummus, and other cultural dishes by opening his new eatery outside of Quinsigamond Community College’s Greendale campus. With a focus on fresh, clean ingredients, Wraps N Bowls makes falafel daily and boasts a menu that is Vegan-friendly, the menu blends authentic homemade with traditional Mediterranean street food. In addition, with their build-your-own menu concept, you don’t need to rely on Chef Mario as you’re encouraged to deviate from the expected by choosing your own favorites (baba ghanooj and pomegranate spicy sauce anyone?). Although recently opened, customers have been raving about everything from the menu, clean atmosphere, and friendly staff.
