Have an appetite and a craving for a perfectly cooked burger? Head on down to Shrewsbury Street and get your “fix” on!
For good measure (and to add a little health to this burger) I opted to add avocado. The burger was a well prepared perfectly cooked top quality hamburger.
The Classic Burger from The Fix was perfect: the avocado was fresh and plentiful, and the combo of gouda, avocado and bacon on a pretzel bun was amazing.
The Fix on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester, MA offers unique, artisan burgers, including the Chef’s special, Lamb Burger.
A beef patty served on a brioche roll, with sautéed mushrooms, grilled onions, arugula, provolone cheese and truffle mayo; this was no ordinary burger.
The crunch of the bacon was a great counterpoint to the soft texture of the burger, and its the smoky flavor was just enough to peek through the BBQ sauce.
The Fix’s very appropriately named, “Classic Burger,” is without exaggeration, the best burger I’ve ever tasted anywhere, anytime, period!
Skip your vegetables and go for red meat; the Pork Belly Burger, Crunchy Burger, are to die for, whereas the veggie burger was not my favorite from The Fix.
The burger from Livia’s Dish was juicy! The bacon and chipotle sauce added flavor and the shoestring fries were just how I like them!
Even though there were a lot of toppings in the pie’s description, it wasn’t overdone. The balance between spicy, salty and texture was just right.
