Chef Brian Treitman and Chef Bill Nemeroff step outside of the pit of BT’s Smokehouse and join us for an intimate 30-person dinner at Wormtown Brewery on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester. The evening is meant to show off the technical training and culinary skills that both chefs have earned over the years—before finding themselves at the BBQ smoker. The private dinner starts with a cocktail hour with appetizers and a specially chosen Wormtown Beer with a behind-the-scenes peek of the inner-workings of Worcester’s first, and iconic, brewery. The sit-down meal features four courses that highlight the chef’s talents and each course is paired with two Wormtown beers to emphasize the impact that different style brews can affect a meal. During each course, the chefs and brewers will talk about what came together for each pairing. To conclude the evening, the fourth course—served within the taproom—will offer a fun way to celebrate food in the heart of the Commonwealth with a special sweet treat.

Fourth Course

Maple Spring Farm Vanilla Ice Cream and Coffee Stout Float

Beer Pairing: Barrel Aged Spies Like Us – Wormtown’s Russian Imperial Stout aged in Bourbon Barrel’s for 9 months.

 

This is a 21+ evening and tickets must be purchased through MassFoodies.com prior to the event. Due to the complexity of the event, there aren’t options for dietary preferences or substitutions. Cash beer bar also available.
